What is a discount Code?
A discount code is used to offer a reduction in price on specific products, product categories or a custom formulation. You can create an unlimited number of discount codes and give them to practitioners and patients to use.
|Flat/Fixed Amount Discount||This will give the paying party a flat amount off their order. Example: Take $5 off an order of $50 or more.|
|Percentage Discount||This will give the paying party a % amount off their order.|
Determining a discount when there is a markup is difficult. We programmed two options.
1. Apply the discount to the base price + Markup
2. Apply the discount to the base price only (do not include the markup)
Discounting Order with Markups
When applying a discount to an order with a markup, the practitioner will assume a proportion of the discount, and will receive a lower markup amount than what was inputted on the order.
